Oscar FASHIONI REVIEW: Last night at the Oscars carpet rep the trend is white. Gwyneth Paltrow, Rooney Mara and Jennifer Lopez are the biggest standouts. COHEN POURING ashes ON SEACREST: If you missed the Oscars last night–you missed quite an interesting show on the red carpet. Actor Sacha Baron cohen in character to promote the film “Dictator.” He spilled ash all over Ryan Seacrest tux-gray he claimed from Kim Jong Il, North Korea’s former leader who died last year. Seacrest is a little upset. Cohen was initially banned from the red carpet by Oscar producers who do not want to use for a promotion. They finally gave up. Cohen’s film came out in May.

Style icon and the head of Australia’s most prestigious fashion institute, Fashion Design Studio in the Ultimo’s TAFE in Sydney, Nicholas Huxley, will present this year’s eighth International emerging Designer iD Award was held on Thursday, March 29, in the role of Guest judges.

This is a great week in the industry of clothing. It’s Fashion Week in New York City and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue just came out. I usually don’t pay much attention to fashion but I have to think how former Senator Rick Santorum’s election will change on the way women dress. My guess is that next year, supermodel Gisele Bundchen and others will be on the catwalk wear chadors (what a waste) and all the hottest new designers will from Saudi Arabia. And Sports Illustrated? Forget about it. If Santorum served as President, you can bet Kate Upton would wear more clothes if he was on the cover again. I should probably say that next year, he will at least wear clothes.

Santorum also wanted to bring back in the gender gap. Traditionally women are much more likely to vote Democratic than men. But in 2010, the GOP is almost too do women like The did with men. After several decades, the GOP has finally closed the gender gap and Santorum’s nominations will bring it back and make it as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Mattel Hover Board prepares for the 2012 holiday releases

Back to the Future Hover boards: Finally! This is really great 1: 1 replica of a hover Board from BTTF movies 2 and 3 include a few sound BTTF Roar and will glide over most of the surface (not actually “hover”-check back in 2015 for that feature). We will be taking orders for it 1 March-20 March 2012, and the final product will be shipped around November/December 2012. Because this is such high cost items, there will be some commands needed to get into production. If we do not receive the minimum order, will not go into production and the customer will not be charged. Pricing will be announced later this month. (Note: Hover Boards don’t work on water.)
