John Vickers, the man behind last year’s Victoria International Festival musicians, is to change the organizational skills to the merger of the municipality.
Vickers, famous art pumpkin festival Victoria, musician and Masquerade ball, worked to create community groups dedicated to pushing forward the idea of merging and keeping the hot stove.
In hopes that some kind of “citizens ‘ initiative on the merger of the municipal vote will make it to the next within the next three years.
“About one and a half years ago, I started putting together an effort where we will put together a group representing people of all 13 municipalities where we wanted to create an initiative in which we will keep the focus on the incorporation of front and Center in the community rather than having to come and go,” Vickers said on Friday.
“Mainly it is to provoke conversations more and continue throughout the merger.”
